How do i get rid of tinnitus?

How did I get tinnitus and how do I remove?

  • Hello I waked up today and noticed that I had a large ringing noise in my left ear and I noticed directly that it was tinnitus. I've never had it before will it go away by itself or will it be stuck forever? I've had some problem with the ear before. When I like touched the ear I have got the same kind of feeling like when you lift of with a plane and it doesn't go away for like a day or two. Should I see a doctor for this problem?

    Tinnitus is a ringing or high pitch sound in your ear/s. I've had an on again off again ringing or buzzing my ears for years. I've learnt to ignore it and it never lasts for long at any one time. I don't know of any cure but see your doctor if you are worried.

I think you may have wax on your ear drum, try putting 2 drops of olive oil into the affected ear and with your head tilted to the opposite side massage your ear from just behind, you should be able to hear the oil squelching around. Lightly plug the ear with cotton wool do this 3 times a day for 3 or 4 days and if you still have symptoms make an appointment to have your ear syringed.
