Burning right chest pain and under arm, numbness + tingling in right arm?
-
Ok.. for about 4 days now Ive been having this strange chest pain on the right side. Like a pulled muscles kind of pain that feels like buring as well sometimes. I then started feeling my arm go numb and tingly. I also have a shooting sharp pain go from the front to the back (by my shoulder blade) I also feel dizziness. It get worse going towards the end of th day and then in the morning im ok... It cant really be a heart problem since its on the right side of my chest, and Ive been told it could be heartburn. Its been especially painful since Im on Birth Control and my breast are extremely painful. So that fact doesnt help.. From what Ive decribed, can someone tell me what it could be?? Please, serious and informative answers are accepted.. If you know what it could be, let me know... Thanks! PS: I am 21 years old and this has never happened to me before!

I suggest you seek the attention of a physician instead of relying on us here at YA for definitive answers. I also suggest you do this ASAP.

you need a massage!! when the muscles are tight can be pressing on nerves, read about thoracic outlet syndrome to have an idea. I'm a massage therapist that's why i know about it ;)

Go to a doctor right away, if your family doctor is not available, go to the ER. Even if it turns out to be nothing, it make sense to be safe. If it has lasted this long, it needs medical attention, not answers online. Believe me, I am a Mom.

Was it a doctor that told you this can't be heart related? It sounds like it's straight out of a guide for recognizing a heart attack.

I had a female friend that dropped dead about 10 years ago from a hear attack. She was 21 years old... Get up now and go to the emergency room to get checked out it is the least you can do for yourself...

Seriously you need medical advice from a doctor not this site. Sounds to me like you are either dehydrated, have trapped a nerve or do actually have a heart condition. You should get your blood pressure checked too, I seem to remember some relation with that and a similar sensation to the one in your arm.

Yeah, you need to have that checked out. It's probably NOT a heart attack but just to let you know there is such a thing as deferred pain. This means that the pain could be derived from one part of the body, but you're feeling it at another. (However I would expect some shortness of breath with a heart attack. Since it has worsened with the pill, it may be a blood clot. This is a serious situation and you should really be checked out immediately.

I would suggest you get it checked out because at least it can be treated straight awy then hopefully.

it might be a pinched nerve or heart burn. but ive never heard of heart burn causeing numbness in your arms. you might want to go to the doctor just in case.
