How To Make Ear Cuffs?

Can constant ear infections make you go deaf?

  • Since I was little I have had quite a few ear infections. For some reason my left ear gets them much worse than my right. Last month I had another one and when my doctor was checking my ears he mentioned that I have had so many that my ear anatomy is actually disfigured a little. Anyway, I finally got over it, but after I noticed that the hearing ability in my left ear (the one with the infections) seems a lot lower than that of my right. In fact, when someone on my left is talking to me, if there is any background noise whatsoever (more people talking, TV, music, etc.) they have to speak a little louder or I have to turn my head a bit to hear them clearly. So, I guess what I'm asking is this: is it possible that constant ear infections could have made me go partially deaf in one ear, or should I start looking at other reasons for my loss of hearing? I really hope it will come back and if you could help that would be great.
