Is Heterochromia usually genetic?

If you had heterochromia, what color would your eyes be?

• Heterochromia: a condition where the iris of one eye is a different color than of the other eye. You can pick your natural eye color for one and change the other, or you can pick two different colors. For me, I would pick: blue (my natural color) and green, or green and hazel. But if any of you already have heterochromia, which eye would you want to be as the other so you could have two same-colored eyes? By the way, what does your driving license or identification card say under your eye color?

  I would want to have two blue eyes that both saw either far or near sighted. What I have instead is one brownish hazel eye that is far sighted and a greenish hazel eye that is near sighted. My license says green but I will be changing it to hazel when I move. Last time it said brown as no one can tell what to call them and they don't have room for two colors.
