Behcet's covered under the American disability act?

Answer:
Behcet's Disease is life-threatening in itself. It is further complications, that can become serious and may cause disability. In England, we have to fight hard to get any benefits with this painful, miserable, exhausting illness. I was turned down for DLA last year. I had just come off of bereavement benefits, having lost my husband. I have not worked since 2003 due to Behcet's. I was turned down with my appeal and I'm now going for a Tribunal. My feet are so crippled and just about every other joint is painful or swollen.
