What happens during and after a coma?

When you're in a coma what happens?

  • i've always wanted to know what happens when you're in a coma do you dream ? and also when you wake up does it feel like a second has passed by ?

  • Answer:

It's like you're unconscious. You can hear everything, but you can't move or see anything. When my grandfather was in a coma, I said goodbye to him and he started crying. He made no noise or movements, just tears flow down his cheeks. It's pretty weird. You can be in a coma for a while. A person cannot be awakened, fails to respond normally to painful stimuli, light, sound, lacks a normal sleep-wake cycle and does not initiate voluntary actions. ( Voluntary means sttuff that you chose to do as if moving your legs to run) A coma happens as a result of brain swelling.
