Nasonex for ringing and blocked ears?

• Hello All, I have had my right ear blocked for about a week as well as ringing in my right ear as well. I have seen an ear, nose and throat specialist doctor last week and he removed lots of wax as well as some cotton from my q-tips (amazing!). I can now hear again but the ringing was still there but is gradually going down. The ringing is at about 40% of what it was just 1 week ago. My doctor prescribed nasonex, (a steroid) and the doctor said that it will help decrease and eliminate the ear ringing to strengthen my ear system. My question is, does anyone else have experience with nasonex and ringing ears? I feel it is working as the ringing has reduced to about 40% of what it was last week, but how long approx will it take for the ringing to go away? I was prescribed 3 months of nasonex, if I feel better in 1 month should i stop taking nasonex?

  Hi Im having the same problem. Last week my ears started ringing. My doctor said I had a plugged up nose so he gave me a prescription for Nasonex. I started taking it immediately but to be honest, still have the constant ringing which is so annoying. I would love to know how long it will take approx for the ringing to go away.
