Can dizziness be caused by my seasonally allergies?

Dizziness, jumbled and slurred words, trouble walking...?

  • I was working about 5 days ago when I all of a sudden got really dizzy and had to lie down for a while. Over the next few hours I had the symptoms listed in the title, plus some nausea. I went to the doctor 2 days later, my dizziness and walking trouble was gone, but I was still having trouble saying difficult sentences...I was all sniffly when I went in there and the doc said it was just vertigo caused by a cold. I told him I didn't have a cold I have hayfever/allergies. He basically just shafted me out of the office immediately. I couldn't find anything about jumbled words when I was looking at info about vertigo. Should I be getting a second opinion?

Whenever you're unsatisfied with a doctor it's worth getting a second opinion if you can afford it.
