What happens to your body when you don't eat?

What happens when you dont eat at all during the week and eat alot on the weekends.?

  • I know a guy and he is 16 years old.Hes a refugee from the caribbean and he just moved up here ,to Canada 2 years ago .Like any other normal boy he would go to school during the week and have plans on the weekend. The problem is though that he doesn't have any food at his dads house during the week and when he comes to my house on the weekends he gets the full course : breakfast, lunch AND dinner, both on saturday and sunday. Just a couple months ago hes been complaining about his : getting weak dizziness numbness severe stomach pains being very tired severe body pain bad bad horrible headaches please, some one answer because im really scared something will happen to him one day because hes not getting enough food to eat .Im 14 and im already taller than him. Can you tell me what he might have and what we can do for him, I'd really appreciate it because hes my cousin. If you met him you would suspect a thing because hes a really nice ,loving , funny guy.

  • Answer:

It certainly isn't a healthy thing to do and your friend has the symptoms to prove it. He's in risk of having his body shut down on him. I'm not sure if you mean that he doesnt eat at his father's home or If his father can't afford food. If his father isn't feeding him he needs to be reported to Children's Services or some other agency who protects children.
