Heightened taste in sodium and sugar: Does this mean I might be at risk for hypertension and diabetes?

First off, lately I can taste sodium like no body's business. I'm not one to add sodium to my food, not even while cooking. I used to not really taste sodium. I used to love Cheesy Hash brown Hamburger Helper, but the last two times I ate it, it was as if I was eating salt directly from the box. I made pizza from scratch a dozen times, exactly the same way each time, and the last two times I made it, same thing. Like eating salt from the box. And there was two shakes of salt from the salt shaker. Less than bare minimum. That is just two examples. Then, when it comes to cake, lately I have to take off the frosting because it would be like eating sugar from the box. I'd eat cakes and cupcakes that was made the exact same way each time, but it was not until much later in time there is that heightened taste in sugar. I'm being 100% serious, but I'm starting to wonder if that is my body's way of forewarning me about maybe I'll come down with hypertension or diabetes. What are your thoughts?
