Why do people's breath smell so bad?

How come i can smell some peoples breath across the room?

• its like when they enter the room there breath takes over all the air.. even if there no breathing towards me... and im the only one that can scenes it.. am i crazy?

  No, you're not crazy. You just have a super-sensitive sense of smell. Some people can pick up smells that other people don't smell or that don't bother other people. I have two family members like that -- one of whom, a chemist by training, was offered a job by a perfume company because he could so readily distinguish between the various chemical compounds and fragrances used in perfumes. I think it would be more of a disadvantage, though, because you can smell things like other people's breath from across the room.
