If I get a positive STD test do I have to tell the clinic everyone i've ever had sexual relations with?

  • i want my friend to go with me to the clinic when i get tested for STD's and she just told me that if I'm positive, I have to tell the clinic everyone i've had any sexual relations with since the last time I got tested. I thought I had the right to privacy, so is this true??
