Can you get STD's from toilet water?

Can you get STDs from someone who uses your toilet when they have STDs?

  • My friends other friend's parents wont let my friend you their bathroom because he has STDs.

    it depends, clamidia is a sure bet, but others no... not unless you are in full contact with the germs... you can catch other **** tho... so clean toilet seat thoroughly before use if at work or elsewhere outside of fmaily or partner's home... STD's are not that eas to contact unless there are bodily fluids involved... but be careful no matter what.

STDs are not passed by coming in contact with a toilet seat. Most STDs are only transmitted during sexual contact, either by skin-to-skin contact or through body fluid exchange. Crabs, or pubic lice, may be transmitted through sexual contact, sleeping in infected bedding, sharing infected clothing and possibly through sitting on an infested toilet seat. However, lice cannot survive away from the human body for longer than 24 hours. So contracting pubic lice from a toilet seat is possible, but it's unlikely.

Um... i think the only thing you can catch from a toilet is crabs and scabies.... scabies are more likely to be transferred than crabs which are bugs, really, not a disease.
