What Is Special Fried Rice Infection?

STD, yeast infection, oral thrush and anal bleeding - help?

  • Recently, I caught the STI/STD Trichomoniasis. I was given a prescription for Flagyl antibiotics, which I took improperly by accident. I was supposed to take four pills at once, but I messed up and took one pill per day for four days. I went back to the doctor, as my symptoms were only reduced, not gone. She said she didn't think I still had trich, but she said it was wise to re-medicate, so I took the pills again, properly this time. She also said I had developed a yeast infection due to the antibiotics (it usually happens to me). So she gave me Fluconizole oral medication for the yeast infections, three pills, one every 72 hours. I took them, but I didn't get totally better. During the time I was taking the oral Fluconizole, I realized I had developed oral thrush. I went again to the doctor, and she said it was likely from the Flagyl. She gave me a prescription for an oral rinse, which I just can't remember to take. The oral Fluconizole really made the oral thrush better, even though that's not what it's for. But I still see a couple spots on the back of my tongue, and I know I should have been better with the oral rinse meds. In the meantime, I had cut out all breads, rice, carbs, yeasts and sugars from my diet. I upped my yogurt intake. It helps, but I'm still not all the way better. It even feels at times that the yeast infection spread to my anus. It burns and itches in a mild way. The vaginal pain had me avoiding using the bathroom, at first when I had the trich. Then my new diet made my stools pretty hard and it was hard to push it out (sorry for the TMI). I THINK (not totally sure) that I might have tore my anus when straining. I see bright red blood spots on my toilet tissue that are coming from my anus. So I know that the tear is right along my inner rectum or the blood wouldn't be bright red, it would be darker if it was from deeper internal bleeding. But I'm not sure if somehow the trich I had, the yeast infection and the oral thrush are all related to the anal bleeding or if this is just because I strained too hard. I don't know. Would it make sense that my anal bleeding is from a strain because I had less carbs in my diet, or are all of these things happening to me symptoms of something bigger or worse? Any advice?

ugg, that sounds horrible. It is possible that a combo of having a yeast infection in your anus and your diet changes caused the anal bleeding. Since, you skin would have been irritated by the yeast and straining plus hard stool could have caused a tear. I wouldn't worry about the blood unless if continues to be an issue weeks down the road. Up the fiber in your diet to make your stools softer and drink tons of water. If you still have oral thrush you can buy Gentian violet over the counter. Not all places it keep it in stock so you might want to call around first. Gentian violet will stain you mouth purple for a few days, but works well. Breastfeeding mom commonly use it on baby's mouth and their nipples with excellent results. You might be able to use it in other areas..but I would do some research first. Good luck!

next time you take antibiotics buy acidophilus too. You'll find it either from the pharmacist or with the supplements. It's pro-biotics to replenish all the good flora you're killing off. Go buy it now, it will help your chuckie and your mouth. Just eat normal, your obviously doing more harm than good. Next time use a rubber!
