Blood and puss filled pimple from shaving?

I think I may have herpes but I am unsure, please help!?

  • Ok so here's the deal.... I have been with my bf for almost four years now and have only slept with one other guy. I have had a bump form on the ridge of my outer vaginal lip about 3-5 times in the past 3 years. it starts off as a bump thats sort of like a pimple that you feel comming on. You cant see it on your skin but you can feel it. It eventually comes to a "head" like a pimple and then I pop it white puss stuff comes out and sometimes oily clearish liquid comes out with some blood, again like a pimple. is this herpes? it always comes to the same spot and its only ever one bump. I am terrifyed to go to the doctor or talk to my boyfriend about it. also I found a generic bottle of valtrex in his dresser drawer b/c I am nosey and snoop when he is not home. I have also noticed that it has been filled several times over the past 3 years. This being said he does get cold sores frequently and I am just too scared to confront him about it bc then he will know that I was snooping through his things! I have a doc appt. for my annual femenine check up in March and plan on getting tested for STD's like I always do I have always come up negative but I have never been tested for HIV they always just do a swab test, do you need to get a boold test done for herpes like HIV. I am so scared someone please help me!

  • Answer:

I would get checked out immediately because it's your health and it's a good indicator to see if he really is snooping around. Call the toll-free number 1-877-516-1656, they'll find you an anonymous clinic near you and you can get tested on the spot. Good luck and try to stay calm!

Most likely herpes. Get checked ASAP, don't wait until March.

Sorry to say this, but it sounds like herpes. They come then go away then come back again. Also, the doctor can do a blood test but for herpes, they aren't 100% accurate. You need to go when the bump is there so they can take a culture. Stop popping it or it will spread. If he has a generic prescription then he has herpes. Also, cold sores are a form of herpes so more than likely he spread it to your genital area. If he really does have it (and I honestly believe he does) he's a jerk for not telling you. No matter how scared you are to go to your doctor, you have to go. If you test positive, you can then bring it up to your boyfriend and he will hopefully confess.
