Can One Get STDs From a Finger After The Finger Stroked a Penis?

• I was sexually assaulted after a man masterbated then inserted his finger into my vagina. One month after the assault, I developed small red bumps and an ulcer that turned green. I have been diagnosed with HPV but I fear I may have other STDs. I am seeing a psychologist and she suggested I go get tested. I called the organization she reccomended and spoke with a counselor. I explained what exactly happened and at first, she wouldn't even let me get tested. She said "Oh that is virtually impossible to get anything from a finger!" I explained how I noticed HPV bumps 3 weeks after the assault, ash suggested that I might have gotten HPV before the assault. I had one sexual partner before the assault. He was a boyfriend and we were both virgins before sleeping together. This was over 2 years before the assault. When I went to Planned Parenthood, the nurse also said "Now I don't think you got it from this "finger thing". You probably got it a long time ago and it is just now showing." However, my psychologist who has a PhD in psychology agrees that it is very possible to get an STD from a finger after it has stroked a penis. She explained how some STDs pass from SKIN-TO-SKIN contact. When he touched his penis, he got the HPV virus on his finger, then transferred it to my vagina. My gynecologist I just went to agreed that that is how I got it. So why are so many professionals unedcated? The counselor soon apologized and explained that she is just a counselor with no medical training. I am just tired of certain people telling me I have nothing to worry aobut just because it was a finger. Why are they so unedcuated? I want to get tested for Herpes but it took forever for that clinic to take me seriously.

  I believe that you could get hpv from this incident.Possibly even herpes. But I'm pretty positive that you have to have intercourse or an exchange of bodily fluids to contract HIV.
