Can you get HIV with a single instance of PROTECTED sex?

  • Hey, I'm asking this question on behalf of a friend who's really scared...... about 4 weeks back he got drunk and had PROTECTED sex with a prostitute in Delhi, India..... He says that the condom was intact and the prostitute looked healthy...... Although he's worried that while removing the condom he might have gotten some of her vaginal fluids on his fingers from where the virus could enter his blood..... So now he's really paranoid and depressed and can't wait the 3 months window period to get an ELISA done..... he wants to get a HIV PCR test done, so any idea on this accuracy and the costs incured for the same. thankyou....
