Std test negative/nonreactive need serious med advice?

  • had unprotected sex with a new gf for the 1st time last last thursday (8days ago), and began to notice a tingling sensation in my uretha within 24 hours. had urine/blood work done and all stds came back negative or non reactive. my initial urine test wich they test for whiteblood cells seemed fine but i didnt wait a hour inbetween goin( more like 20-30mins). she says shes clean, was tested 5months prior, and hasnt been with anyone since. my symptoms are 1. tingling/burning sensation in my urethra 2. want to urinate every 30 mins and a constant want to urinate. 3. diareah mild and controlable 4. upset/ ache stomach/bladder. the night i had sex i remember having to urinate really bad and holding it for a phew hours. also had like 5beers that night woke up drank a soda and 4more beers. later in the day i had 4more beers n a phew sodas. next day was similar drinking wise. have also cracked/crushed a phew ribs 3months back. plz help im so broke from my clinic fees and lab work. i got my metabolic panel 8 test done today and get those results back monday. my clinic doctor is beeing nice and calling around for further information cause shes sorta stumped.

    Your symptoms sound like prostititus. Might want to visit a urologist for a course of either cipro or doxycycline. Let me add that you won't see an infection in urine cultures, you will need a prostate massage or semen culture to determine such types of infections.
