How to get rid of rough dry patches on hands?

Purple / pink / red and white patches on my hands and arms not a rash. What is this?

Your Open Question: My hands have Purple/pinky patches (not a rash)? This has been bugging me since I went in hospital after a operation the doctor said sank about it but I can remember what. It isn't in a particular type of weather my hand a arms get patchy purple pink and White patches it reminds me of a octerpuss it's not a rash it's more like under the skin? Skin conditions that come to mind are Rosacea, Erythema Nodosum and Purpura. There are probably a lot more, but since I don't know why you went to the hospital, what kind of medication you use and you didn't provide a picture, I really have no idea.
