Can you tell if this scab is older than 4 days old?

Scab with pus, please help!?

• So a few days ago, I had a scab on my arm. I aimlessly peeled it off, and now, it is very infected. It has green pus coming out of it. Please dont scare me and tell me that it will cut my arm off, or that I have to be hospitalised. I need a home remedy for it, I am freaking out because I don't know how to cure it. Please give me advice! Is there any medication to cure it, without a prescrpition? thanks. I am very scared.

  It is common for eczema to become infected, even without scratching. Cutting off arms and hospitalization are not generally required. Since you have pain when moving the arm, I recommend you visit your doctor or an urgent care center for treatment. Possibly a cream, more likely oral antibiotics will be given. You need to treat the eczema so you stop scratching and the area can heal. There are no good home remedies for staph infections which are most common with eczema, see the doc.
