What should I do with my scaly sunburn skin?

Fair skin, and i work outdoors for 7 hours straight, what can i use to gain a tan and prevent sunburn?

  • dont give me a stupid answer like "sunscreen or sunblock" i know that already lol, im quite pale, and i just started my job as grounds maintenance on an mlb spring training field, outdoors 7 hours a day, i been using subblock SPF 75, to protect my tats as well, but i am afraid this is not only preventing sunburn, but also preventing a tan. i of course dont need a tan on my arms cause they are fully sleeved, just my legs and face and neck. was wondering what i can do to tan good and still not burn? any specific routines for outdoors for long periods?

  • Answer:

You're asking not to be given stupid answers, and telling people not to suggest that you wear sunblock or sunscreen ... you're obviously not very bright. -___- Sunblock does exactly what its name implies; it blocks the sun. It protects against the UV rays whilst also not allowing the skin to tan. Sunscreen protects your skin from the UV rays and allows you to tan without burning. So, using a low sunscreen would give you the results you're looking for. But, you said you don't want protection ... going out in the sun to get a tan without protection isn't smart, you probably will burn and you'll be increasing the risk of getting skin cancer. :)
