  • pleaseee help! I just need some remedies to stop my hands from sweating so when i hold hands with him he wont be grossed out.

  • Answer:

Excessive sweating could be a sign of a condition called Hyperhidrosis. Palm sweating is the most common annoyance. ( I suggest you download the guide: "Stop Sweating and Start Living" - see link below for source. ) Some grow out of this condition as they get older. Others, like me, do not. I joined an online hyperhidrosis community where people shared their experiences with treating sweating problems and they talked about why we sweat so much and what we can do to eliminate the symptoms. Hyperhidrosis, like diabetes, can be controlled through diet, exercise and natural treatments. They have a guide: "Stop Sweating and Start Living" that I suggest you download. It really worked for me. I've included the source below. I hope this information helps :) And let me know if you need any help!

When I was younger I had the same problem - my grandma too me to rub babypowder on my hands before you leave and it did help but don't use too much or you'll look like a ghost

I deal with this problem also, Many people have suggested deodorant. It works for a while, however I've found that Antiperspirants can leave a sticky residue on the hands, which is almost as undesirable as the sweat you are trying to get rid of. Before trying unfeasible methods such as antiperspirants, the problem of sweating hands must first be tackled by making dietary changes, as eating habits can have a great impact on the way the body sweats. It may be the case that stronger tactics are required to shake the problem as it may be genetic and therefore completely uncontrollable by diet changes. If this is the case, a viable solution can be found by consulting a doctor. The doctor may be able to help with other areas in your life that may be causing you to sweat. However, hand and body creams and lotions are the most common culprits for sweating hands.

You could have a condition called hyperhydrosis, where you have excess sweating, in your case, of your hands. I have this same condition and what I have found works best is Botox. You get about 30 tiny shots in each hand of the Botox medicine which paralyze the muscle in your hands and cause you to not sweat. The shots last for about 3 or 4 months and the only downside I have found is that they weaken your hands just a bit. Unless you work with tiny things everyday, such as working in a nail salon, I highly suggest them. Just go to your dermatologist and ask! If you feel like the sweating isnt that bad, there are pills out there where the side effects are decreased sweating. I would ask about that too! Good luck :)

my friend had the same problem last year. he went to the doctor and the doctor preformed a small "operation" on his hands which caused his hands from sweating. he was also in a relationship and when he would hold his girls hand he would always weat. now his hands are perfect.

I have the same problem and so you can't really do much, sorry to say! But what I found out was when my hands were sweating was when I was wearing a sweatshirt and I was hot. So try not to wear six layers of clothes. Only wear one shirt and that should help. I hate it, too.

put some tissues in your pockets, so when you need to dry your hands, you can reach into your pockets and grab the tissues, which will absorb the moisture
