Well I had only been in the sun for like 1 hour or 2, but my face is quite red now. I really want to know how i can reduce the redness as well as the pain and appearance. BY THE WAY: I have albinism......

Answer:
Yes, pure aloe vera. Fruit of the Earth makes a 100% aloe gel that we've used with much success. I believe I've gotten ours at Target and Wal Mart. But I'm sure a natural food place or something of that nature would definitely have some. Or if you happen to have an aloe plant lying around just start snapping of pieces of the leaves and applying the juice right to the skin, using the leaf itself as an applicator. The trick is to put some on, just a thin layer, then reapply again once the aloe has soaked in and the area is dry to the touch. Keep it up for at least several hours. It may seem like overkill, but it starts to take the sting away almost instantly and if you do it frequently enough the skin doesn't peel. We keep ours in the refrigerator, cold aloe feels great on nasty sunburn. Oh and make sure you wash your hands well before you start applying the aloe to the skin. Feel Better!

no too sure about the redness but juice from an aloe vera plant will help with the pain, cool it a little too, either cut straight from the plant or you can buy the juice as a lotion... it's good stuff

for the redness, go to a department store that sells cosmetics and has sales people who can help you. The last time I had red patches on my face from dermabrasion, the lady at the 'clinique' counter showed me how to use a green base to neutralize the red. I know a green concealer sounds odd but green cancels out the red. Then blend with your regular foundation if you have a bronzer then lightly brush the bronzer onto the apple of your cheeks, bridge of your nose or wherever you want a summery glow. The bronzer will help take the attention away from areas that are more red. Best Bet - Just go to Nordstroms or whoever else sells Clinique and ask for help. I'm sure there are other brands that can do the same thing. but clinique is the one i've had experience with

Lot's of aloe should help a lot. If you're Albino you should be more careful isn't you skin really sensitive ? Anyway good luck !

Try Noxzema, I know it sounds weird, but it always helps me. Also, witch hazel helps a lot. You can use both of these UNLESS you have any kind of blistering. I don't know if the "albinism" will get in the way. Good luck, I hope you feel better!
