How to get rid of hyper pigmentation (acne scarring)?

  • My brother has severe acne pigmentation from acne he had a couple of years back. I feel awful because his self esteem is really low because of this. What product can I buy for him to help them fade? I think he's going to a dermatologist but has anyone else gotten results using other things. I heard Bio oil and shea butter helps but I'm not sure.

    I suffer from acne/ acne scarring. Recently, I heard about lemon juice. I used a fresh lemon and put all of the juice in a cup. Before I go to bed I take a cotton ball and wipe it all over my clean face. I have seen great improvement and lack of redness ever since. It's worth a shot! Hope this helps:)

I've used bio oil and it didn't do anything! And if he's still breaking out he will break out more using this. I use Lush Aqua Marina because I have sensitive acne prone skin. Reviews have said the seaweed in it helps reduce hyper-pigmentation. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and think it's helping.
