How to get rid of light sunspots?

• i have light sunspots all over my back and stomach area and i hate them! i live in the sunshine state so i do go to the pool and beach often but i always where sunscreen. i went to the dermatologist about 6 months ago and he gave me this ointment and shampoo/ body wash called ketoconazole but it hasn't really improved my sunspots any. i have a end of the year trip to the rapids coming up in may and dint want to have ugly sunspots all over my body and people think i have some weird disease or something. i have also tried head and shoulders and it didn't work. these sunspots run in my family. will maybe exfoliating help? please tell me how to treat this, thanks :)

  If these sunspots running into your family, you can try whatever you want, you can't get rid of them. They are getting worse the more you're going to the pool and beach, because that's a reaction of your skin when the sun is shining. The only thing you can do is staying inside, so they won't turn this dark. On the other hand, I think small light sunspots looking nice and funny, so why being so embarrassed..
