Can itching a mosquito bite cause a rash to form around the area?
-
I have a mosquito bite that's going away but in the area it was in there is a little rash. It doesn't appear to be spreading but I only noticed it last night. I have been itching and lightly rubbing the skin around the bite so as not to actually scratch the bump itself and cause bleeding or scarring, but I want to know if this is the cause of the rash. It may also be lyme disease but it doesn't exactly look like the picture I found on the internet. Please help! Should I be concerned or not?

Answer:
It might be poison sumac. It starts looking like a bug bite then goes into a rash looking form. Thats what I had. Go to the doctors.
