Brown spots on my lips?

Itchy swollen lips and itchy spots. ?

  • This might sound disgusting but couple days ago. Around 5 days. I started developing little spots/lumps on the top and outer bits of my lips (like the outline of the lips) and to make it worse my lips are dry, swollen and itchy and I can't really move my lips dramatically like smiling. I also have little itchy spots around my mouth area and some on my cheeks and face. Yes I am looking quite horrendous now. And today I started developing a little rash on my neck but I took an allergy tablet today and the rash on my neck has died down. I had a similar occurrence couple months ago and when I went to the doctors they said it could had been acne but this time I've got swollen lips which I didn't have last time. They gave me some Zineryt jel but it had an expiry of dec so would I be able to use that cos last time it did helps make it go. I'm 18 year old girl and I go to university. I don't know if it's stress, allergic reaction, or hormones. Anyone know what's wrong?

  • Answer:

Eczema may be the cause. You should see your doctor, although hydrocortisone creams may help alleviate the symptoms. If the swelling gets worse, or if you have difficulty breathing seek medical attention immediately. If you suspect an allergic reaction seek medical attention.
