How long will a scar be sensitive after surgery?

Did anyone ever heal from a pinkish/reddish post surgery scar?

  • I just want to know if this scar I got after removing a pre-cancerous mole will ever go away or not. Has anyone ever had it go away eventually. How long did it take? And please don't advise me to use mederma cause they don't have that here in Canada and I don't want to wait forever to get it... Anyways, any help suggestions or story about scar healing after surgery would be appreciated... thanks

    I haven't personally, but I know people that put Vitamin E oil on their surgery scars and they disappear. I takes a while though. My daughter has a post-surgery scar from a pre-cancerous mole that was removed when she was 2, she is 8 now and it is not reddish pink anymore, but it is a slightly different color than the rest of her skin. I never put anything on it to disguise the scar.

Sorry to tell you this but if you have a scar then its not goin to go away. I know this because i have one from surgery too and nothing will work to get it to go away
