Answer:
Beer doesn't have anything to do with acne at least not for all the people i know that drinks... tell her to stop wearing all of that make up all it is doing is clogging her pores more... her skin must BREATH and be cleaned, use toner and a moisturizer that agree with her skin... something light! tell her to try going NATURAL! also no matter what she does to her skin... if her insides are filthy, the filthy has to find a way to come out and it is usually through our pores! so she needs to wash not only her skin but her insides as well... maybe a bi weekly or monthly internal cleanse.... sometimes if a person has never done an internal cleanse their skin will become worse before it gets better because all the bacteria is coming out ... so tell her not to be alarm... also stay away from pharmaceutical acne products... again tell her to try something natural.. tea tree oil, vitamin e witch hazel etc... organic/extra virgin coconut oil and the usual drink plenty of water ... i make my kids drink at least a gallon a day!! it's not hard to do. they also eat twice weekly a bowl of sauerkraut ... they also take vitamins c, zinc, acidophilus, pantothenic acid(b5) and cod liver oil... READ up on those vitamins and how they help with severe acne... be blessed..

I don't know what beer has to due with her acne, except that it is fermented. She could try a different kind of alcohol, such as Vodka. Makeup hides that makeup, but it makes it worse by clogging the pores. Acne is generally bacteria and hormone related. She can give up animal products or at least switch to organic products, which do not contain added hormones. Almond milk is a good substitute for cow's milk. She shouldn't switch to soy though. It's high in estrogen, which also causes acne. Next, bacteria love heat, the dark, and moisture. So she should keep the infected area cool and dry. Also, wash towels and pillow cases and anything else that touches your skin frequently in very hot water. This is another reason for skipping the makeup. It won't do any good for her to get rid of the bacteria just to put it back on her skin. In regard to medicines, she should use use antibiotics only if prescribed during extreme breakouts. Antibiotics are harmful to the colon. I now have Ulcerative Colitis, which I can't prove it's due to the antibiotics, but it quite obviously is. Also, another acne medicine, Accutane, has been shown to cause Ulcerative Colitis. She shouldn't try it. Retin-A, Benzoid Perioxide, suffer-based products work well. She should be especially careful to keep out of the sun if she uses Retin-A. Also, she should take a daily beta-carotene supplement, which is much safer than a pure Vitamin A supplement. BTW, 25 is not that old to have acne. I still get the occasional boil, and I'm 50.

I don't think there really is much of a relevance to her acne and the beer. BUT I do know that drinking water (8-10 glasses a day) can do the skin good. It's best she sees a dermatologist so that she that the doctor could prescribe her the appropriate skin regimen to help her acne. And a tip, make sure that she washes her foundation brushes at least x2/week. Bacteria can harbor in the bristles. She should try to stick to makeup (foundation) thats mineral (bare essentials/ physician formula/ neutragena). If she can, tell her not to apply foundation everyday because foundation clogs up the poors. Just like we need air to breathe, her pores need to breathe also. Hope I helped. <3 Roxanne http://www.youtube.com/user/roxannerborromeo

See a dermatologist. If she hasn't already tried Pro Activ a dermatologist is the best way to go. Ance is becoming more an more of an adult problem. I think it is because of the hormones and additives in our foods. A great skin care regiment always helps. Never going to bed with out washing your face. To be honest my skin didn't clear up until I saw a Dr and I had tried everything. Take her to Sephora and get a sample of first aid beauty for her. This has worked for me or they might have something else.

Yeah acne sucks really bad. I used to get it all over my face and back when I was younger. Girls have it kind of good because they can use make up, but even then it can make you feel very insecure. A friend showed me a guide a few years ago though, I've followed it religiously and it's really help me feel confident. You should check it out, if you're really serious about getting ride of, and maintaining that pest lol. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251007353772#ht_500wt_1156
