What's the best shampoo or treatment to use on itchy, scaling, plaque psoriasis on the scalp?

any kind of tar shampoo works well. neutrogena has a good brand of it although a little pricey. by far, he best thing i have found is a prescription called clobetasol propionate topical solution. and if u ask your doctor about it make sure u mention the topical solution and not the cream or lotion (hard to apply to the scalp) and my hair is still nice and healthy and i have used it for years.

I don't have psoriasis. However i have bad dandruff due to sensitive skin (also living in a country that is very humid). My doctor told me heavy dandruff and psoriasis have similar treatment so i guess my method will work for you too I use Selsun Blue Dandruff Shampoo and pinetarsol oil. The selsun blue stop the itching and dandruff very well. and the pinetarsol reduce the scalp inflammation. Remember to blow dry your hair every time you wash it
