I am allergic to ant bites. What is the toxin? Do all ants bite? Major ant problem in our home.?

Answer:
I've been told that the toxin is the same as rattlesnake poison, but in a smaller dose. If that's true, then it's a protien similar to egg whites. We have some small black ants down here in Texas that my mother calls "sugar ants." They don't sting you, but that's the only kind I know of that doesn't. Cal-el

I feel your pain, I've got bites all over me, I hate them, most ants bite. I don't know what the toxin is but we have a serious ant problem and the property owners won't do anything about it, so we have to live with ants making nests in our home.
