Why are my eyes sensitive to light now after starting a medication?
-
Im 4 weeks postpartum and I've been suffering from high blood pressure since my daughter was born 4 weeks ago. My obgyn prescribed me 5 mg of Enalapril twice daily until my blood pressure can stabilize. I've been on Enalapril for 4 days now and I've noticed my eyes are extra sensitive. Light and glare make me squint and tear up. I feel like I'm always squinting because of light. I went to the movies last night and the light from the screen had me squinting. I've also noticed my eyes are dry which is annoying. Other than the annoyance I have no pain. I heard medicines can cause this. Is this true? Any input or advice would be appreciated! Thanks :)
