What acne medication will help me the best?

Help with my medication ? ACNE!!!!!?

• i am taking by mycin for acne with the active ingredient doxycycline initially i had pretty bad acne but since taking this drug which is about 2 weeks as of now i have broke out more i am getting more tender and sore spots on my cheeks and forehead which i never used to get because my lower cheek around to my chin and mouth where the problem ....... i have seen an increase in the amount of white heads too which i never really got it was always the more big red ones i am 17 year old male i have had acne since i was about 13 it has got a bit better but it still ruins my life. i have try ed tetracycline to see if that would help but it didn't now i am on this i am not confident ti will either but i will give it a go then if all else fails i will try the 3 day apple fat anema i was told to stay away from accutane but that's another story ......well i hope you guys can help me out with any Information especially on the apple fast thank you in Advance

  Doxycycline did nothing for me. My dermatologist recommended washing my face with plain Dove bar and then had me put on Tretinoin Cream once a day. (at night) It is working very well. I would always get these huge bumps under my skin and they would hurt so bad. Then they would leave brownish spots on my face. I would talk to you Dr about a different antibiotic, there are stronger ones, they work and you don't have to keep taking them. Ask for a different one. Hope this helps. I have been there and know what you are feeling.
