Is my acne scarring really bad?

I'm just getting over severe acne, but I still have really bad scarring. I want to Au Pair in America next...?

... year but i'm really self conscious of my face, even with makeup my face looks bumpy and the scars are quite noticeable. I've been wanting to go to the USA to be an Au Pair for a few years now and with college finishing next year and i'll be 19... I'm dying to go... Exlplore the USA. Meet Americans and adventure. However, I know Americans are really beautiful people and i'm really worried that people would think I was a freak or something. & ugly. & maybe the host family would be ashaimed of me or something. I'm just really unsure, I dont want to go over there and be a complete outcask. Should I just stay homee???

You'll fit in fine. As long as your personality is cool, nobody will notice. PS. Americans are definitely not beautiful people, generally. That is just a generalisation shown by the film industry. Most are pretty overweight and normal looking.
