How long does this sunburn peeling last?

  • Worst sunburn I've ever had in my life. My arms, stomach, shoulders, back, chest, legs, forearms, neck EVERYTHING.. it's so unbearable even to sleep it's so awful! How long does this crap last for!!!!!! I want to sleep again!

Hi! I just got back from vacation and I got the worst sunburn ever too, I was in pain and could not walk or sleep without in pain. So I did some googling. and you will never believe what worked! APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (you can use regular vinegar too) either spray it on or tap it on with a cloth and let it air dry. I did it before I went to bed and woke up practically painless. Its a miracle! I didn't put on lotion anywhere except for face because I read not to put on lotion because it actually traps heat and doesn't let it cool off fast. I have also heard a cold bath with oatmeal helps as well. RIght now my sun burnt is in the stage of peeling so I am hoping that doesn't last long!

For a really bad burn, probably about a week. Just keep slathering yourself with aloe vera. Also if you put a tea bag in cold water and then sponge that on you, it helps with the burning sensation.

Make sure you are moisturizing yourself with aloe, that's really good to use or some kind of cool cream...but peeling can last usually I would say from 3-7 days? I don't even know it all depends on how bad you burned and everything.
