How to develop a formula for cos3x?

Is it possible to develop an allergy to a product that one has used (without issues) for many years?

  • ...such as a cleanser, deodorant, cologne, etc? My favorite cleanser that I've been using to keep my skin silky smooth for years (yes, The Nolte is vain) is suddenly causing my skin to appear blotchy and uneven. Is it possible to develop an allergy overnight or is it more likely that the formula for this product has changed and some new ingredient is causing this reaction? I'd appreciate if you'd refrain from insulting me. This is actually a serious question.

  • Answer:

Yes. Reformulation is certainly a possibility. You might be able to extract the information from the manufacturer if you're persistent and get lucky. Other explanations are possible. Breaking down synthetic chemicals requires nutrients and working detox processes. If your system if overloaded with chemicals, the detox processes can be damaged. Nutrients will also be depleted. Simpler example. Imagine a sieve. Everything you eat, breathe, drink, etc goes into that sieve. Some of it goes straight through. Some of it clogs the holes. Too many holes get clogged and less goes through. Eventually it overflows and you notice symptoms like a rash or migraines or irritability or incontinence or ..... The last bit that goes in seems to cause the overflow, but may be a small part of the problem.

Yes, but what probably happened is you've always been allergic to it, just not enough to cause a reaction. At some point, the body just goes this is enough, and reacts to it. You may be fine after using some other girly skin stuff for awhile, or you may never be able to use your favorite again without a reaction. I've only had an allergic reaction once in my life. One day at work, my hands turned purple. I was kind of worried, because there are some hazardous materials that come through there. After bugging them for awhile to get me checked out, I was told it was just an allergic reaction. I tried explaining that I'm not allergic to anything, but the doc gave me the same story I just told you. Sorry there isn't a more clear answer, you'll just have to wait and see.

I don't know... maybe. I think it would be possible if they changed ingredients.. So that's what's wrong with your kisser, eh? And does your face hurt? Because it's killing me. EDIT: Thumbs down? Bring it, bitches. The light is green, come at me.

I can't really add anything the Angels' testimony except that maybe you should discontinue using the product for a while and see if the reaction goes away, then start using it again to see if it returns. Any dermatological issues I've ever had came from contact with anything acidic or any product with too much alcohol in it. Relax, I mean cetyl alcohol. Good luck to you, (((Nolte)))

Yes you can become allegric to something that you not previously allegric to as well as you can build up a tolerance to something you were previously allegric to. For example I use to have a milk allergy no I do not.

you betcha nolte. You may not have been born with it, but it can develop over time. I forget the reasoning behind it, it's been a long time since I have studied allergies and histamine reactions LOL

Could also be something in the water... I'm just saying it's happened. However, I'd consider reformulation a definite possibility.

Instant Star has good tastes.

Well, I have heard that Jack Daniels has reformulated its recipe after many a year. My advice would be to stop sloshing it all over your face as you're drinking out of the bottle, you're obviously allergic to the new formula.
