What is the best acne dark spot remover?

Dark spots left behind due to acne?

• I am 15 years old and when I was younger, I had problems with acne. I used to pick at my pimples and this left behind dark spots that I am unable to get rid of. I usually hide them with makeup but I really would like them to just be gone. Does anyone have any techniques (home or otherwise) to get rid of them. I have heard about Clinique's dark spot remover and I was thinking about trying it but it is $40 so I was hoping to try something else first.

  Vitamin E oil is pretty inexpensive and is known to help with acne scars. The best thing that I have used and still use on a daily basis is Mederma. It's about 18 dollars for a small tube and you can get it at any drug store. I found Target to be the cheapest. That tube will actually go a long way if you just apply a small amount of the cream to the dark spot with a q-tip 3 times a day. I started seeing results in a week and some of my spots were gone withing 3. Always make sure you wear make-up with sunscreen or sunscreen alone because the sun will cause those spots to darken or even raise about the skin. Good luck. I feel your pain
