X-Ray Technician HELP?

After 30 minutes that i had my lunch i went to see the xray technician and had my chest xray? is it bad?

  • will it affect the results of my chest xray? i just had my lunch then i went straight to the clinic and have it done my chest xray???? does anyone know, or for anyone out there an xray technician perhaps knows the answer??? kindly let me know...

It makes no difference at all if you eat just before a chest x ray so dont worry.

Unless you aspirated a couple of peas or part of your Chinese, it will not affect your chest x-ray whatsoever! The only thing it will show is a full gastric cavity and movement into the large intestine-no worries!!

The only reason they might say you shouldn't eat is because having a full stomach might obscure what they are trying to see. This would apply if they were looking at your stomach or any of the organs, bones etc behind it. As your lungs are higher up and in front of your stomach, I doubt it'll make any difference to your x-ray.
