Why is my throat slightly constricted?

Why do I get a sore throat from smoking cigarettes? I feel like my lungs are constricted and I can't breath..?

• I do not smoke cigarettes on a daily basis. However for the past few months I have been going out one night a week. When I drink (like many) I tend to smoke cigarettes socially. I smoke a lot of cigarettes that one night (around 5-10 sharing with my close friends). In the morning I feel disgusted, and sometimes I get a sore throat. This time I got a sore throat like I have never felt. And it has been like this for 2 days already. Last night I could barely breath, my eyes were tearing, my throat felt like it was on fire, and I honestly thought my lungs were going to collapse. I was thinking maybe I'm getting sick and its a coincidence, but has anyone ever experience something like this before? Should I go to a doctor or wait it out? I AM NEVER SMOKING CIGARETTES AGAIN.
