Why am I coughing up blood and getting bloody noses out of no where.?
-
This morning I woke up and I normally cough up mucus, but this morning there was blood in it. About 20 minutes later I had a bit of blood in my nose too. Later this afternoon againI coughed up some blood. And again about 15 minutes ago I had blood in my nose. The thing is is that its only a litle bit. I smoke I suppose but onlye 5 to 6 cigs a day?? Any ideas. Thanks.

Answer:
It's possible that you have a broken blood vessel in your nose and it's bleeding a bit. The blood you are coughing up could probably be explained by this, if while you were sleeping you swallowed some of the blood from your nose. It'll probably go away on it's own, but if it doesn't, a visit to the doctor might be in order.

You need to go to the doctor, there are hundreds of things it could be, I dont want to scare you if it is nothing major. also, Im not qualified, nor do I know anyother symptoms if i did, Smoking that much wont really cause you that much harm. but you need to go to A&E. Hope all is well good luck :) x

Maybe you had a bloody nose while you were asleep and wake up and cough blood, I tend to do that sometimes too. But if it's a large amount of blood, I reccomend you call a doctor!
