How to get a better chest quick?

I have a chest infection can it get better by itself?

  • I got Amoxicillin from the doctors on Friday but I am wondering can it get better by itself? I only took 6 spoonfuls of it and have now quit as I noticed myself getting worse from it and after stopping I have noticed myself getting better. I had very bad symptoms like sore throat, pains in chest etc. Now I have a sore ear but feel better since last week. I don't know what type of chest infection I have but I am wondering will it get better if I don't take the antibiotics or will I get worse? How long until I notice a difference of any sort?

Contact your doctor. Although the human body can fight some infections on it's own some things do require antibiotics. If you are having problems with the medication you should let the doctor know right away. If you cannot reach the doctor at the very least consult someone at a pharmacy who may be familiar with the medication.
