How to totally get rid of cough and cold?! fast?

ok, ive been having this cough and cold, with a fever, since sunday, then the next day my fever was gone but i still have my cough and cold. so i took medicines for that and from that day until now, aside from taking medicines, i've been drinking lemonade, tea, having warm bath, inhaling steam, and i've been taking out phlegm and blowing my nose soooooo hard and so often that when i do that my stomach hurts. i got this from my brother and one thing i don't like about life is having a cough and cold! i can't do what im supposed to do with my coughing and sneezing, i have vocal practice and i can't do that, i want to jog everyday but i can't do that with me coughing all along, and i don't feel comfortable when i do things. whenever i have this cough and cold i have like a number of things to do to get rid of it and i always do that and it heals just 2 or 3 days but now nothing seems to happen, it's like the same even how much I do the remedies or blow my nose, it got better but i still have it and i still sound nasal. do u have something in mind that i can do, coz i reallly really need not just want to get rid of it, like fast? i have vocal lessons to finish and i keep on delaying and being absent from that. thanks!

Coriceden cold and cold medicine. Only take one at a time. They are very strong...you take more your gonna be high.
