Can You 'Overdose' On An Inhaler (+ Do inhalers Cause Nose Bleeds)?
-
My asthma is pretty bad right now and I have taken my inhaler A LOT. It's been really bad for the first time in a LONG time and I fear that there must be some side effects. I have had a few nose bleeds just start running out of my nose, could that be one?

Answer:
Please do not use the inhaler more than what your doctor recommends. Your doctor may be able to write a prescription for a nebulizer or consider adding another medication other than 'just' the rescue (albuterol) inhaler. Please do call your doctor regardless and perhaps even go to the emergency room since a lack of oxygen can severely affect the brain and other organs. Please feel better.
