Is it possible to have grown a deviated septum over the years?

Can deviated septum coz development problems? Mental Issues etc?

• I broke my noce when I was 17. I am 32 now and am getting my deviated septum fixed in one month here in US. I broke my nose in USSR and the butcher dr there did not fix it during surgery just removed broken pieces but left the septum deviated. Now its been 15 years and I really think my anxieties, fear of small places, and partly developemt could have been negatively effected by it. Is this theory possible? Will I have a better life after surgery after my nose if fixed? How in what way? When I slip at night my nose gets filled quick and makes my breathing slow therefore air intake slows down and I think effects my brain my dreams my thinking. On a clear cool night no but when its dry it does. What sort or positive things should I expect from surgery besides obviouse things? Please shoot your ideas guys, thanks. I am exciting but I almost feel like you know when you want number 2 and the need accelerates as you get closer to your toilet? thats how I feel. Since I decided to get it fixed I am now concentrating on my breathing which is not very good through my nose (feel like Im breathing through a gas mask) its ******* horrible so I am more and more anxiouse. Plus I am so scared of surgery itself because of my 1st experience in USSR with the butcher doctor who did it on the spot day after I saw her. she was like ohh yeah lets fix it tomorrow and me being a citizen of a banana republic and a 17 year old kid said sure that sounds good and that ***** did it with local anesthesia. whew......
