Why does my lower abdomen feel bruised?

My lungs feel bruised. What might make me feel better?

  • This is my second day of being sick. I've been sneezing, coughing, congested, had headaches and watery eyes. Since last night it's literally felt like my chest/lungs are bruised. I hadn't been coughing much until this morning but now I am and it hurts a LOT every time (and when I sneeze, too). It also hurts to take a full, deep breath. Is there anything I can do to soothe the pain? If I'm not feeling better by tomorrow I'll see the doctor but if there's anything I can do at home to make the bruised feeling go away, I'd like to try that first.

  • Answer:

yeah i would definitely go to the doctor. it sounds pretty serious, i mean you'll probably be fine, but better safe than sorry. feel better soon :) -mimzy

It kind of sounds like you should go to the Doctor's office. It sounds like you have pneumonia. I had it before and my lungs KILLED whenever I sneezed, coughed, laughed, anything, it hurt to move. I went just in time before my left lung collapsed the doctor said. You should really go.
