Is there a cure for Nasal congestion?

How to cure Nasal congestion specially that affects in the morning?

• I have had this for years specially in the morning both of my nostrils are filled with mucous and sometimes create problem in breathing until I drain it completely.It happens once a week or sometimes once a month.Is it some sort of allergy or something else? and How can I prevent this?
