Red bumps in my throat?
-
Just out of curiosity, does anyone else gets these bumps? I caught a cold and my ears have been plugged up not very bad but enough to annoy me and my nose has been going between runny and stuffy. I had a sore throat for about a day and now it just feels dry and scratchy but not sore at all. My boyfriend looked in the back of my throat to see if my tonsils were swollen and said that I have red bumps in the back. I looked myself and there are a handful of red bumps on the back of my throat on that "wall" behind my tonsils and my tongue. My throat is not sore but my ears are still a bit plugged up. Is this caused by nasal drip? Should I go to the doctor and get tested for strep?

Answer:
Probably just a cold or other virus, but you should have a sample taken to test for strep.
