• Ok so my little 2 year old has had gastro all week and my husband and I also shared it. Now that everyone is better sort of, im left with this shocking indigestion that I cant get rid of. Does anyone know if this is the last of the gastro virus leaving my body. Im 3 months pregnant so i havent taken anything for it but am hoping it goes away soon

  I'm not exactly sure if the indigestion is caused by the gastro virus leaving your body but I do know that you can help your indigestion by drinking alkaline water high in bicarbonate. Bicarbonate is the natural buffer against acid and helps indigestion. You'll find that in most indigestion tablets and medication, the main ingredient is bicarbonate. If you don't have access to alkaline water the next best thing is to add a little baking soda to water and drink it. Hope this helps!
