How to get rid of pink eye in just a few hours?

• Hi, okay so, I woke up in the middle of the night with pink eye (conjunctivitis) and I called my mom. She came over, and told me to put some hot tea bags over my eyes. So, she got me the tea bags and they felt a LOT better. Now its the morning, and I don't usually have the traditional pink eye. I woke up with a lot of crust on my eye, but not I do not have that much. I have a lot of swelling, and obviously, my eye is pink, which is normal. My mom ordered me some eye drops, and she will be home in 20 minutes. Later, I have a big job interview that I really cannot miss! What can I do to make it go away in just a few hours?

  Can't say of a method to help clear this up that fast..this is either a viral or bacterial infection, allergy or environmental factors. Red eyes thick dis charge sticky eye lids in the morning,and inflammation if have no pain this is by bacteria..Treatments will determine if this is by bacterial or viral infection So best to go see your health care provider for treatment(s)...
