Is Clearasil's Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream effective?

What Could Be Causing Me To Get Acne? Please Help If You Can!?

• I am 18 years old. I do not wear make-up, I don't need it, my skin is just naturally nice. I do not get pimples, only when I'm about to be on my period I get a little, like one or two on my nose or forehead. Recently, during winter break, I got some pimples around my mouth area. Not really my mouth area, but more like on my mustache area. They have been there for about 2 weeks & won't go away! I bought Clearasil Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream & it made my pimples WORSE! It scarred me! I have a scar that's still super red as if there was a pimple there, but there's not! What can I do to get rid of these scars?! I'm freaking out because I don't wear makeup because I DON'T NEED IT! My skin is flawless, but these pimples are ruining my life! HELP!

  stress can make pimples flare up. and you stressing about these could possibly be making it worse. also hormonal changes, as you experience when you're about to get your period, could be causing this. you could be going through some kind of change and it's making these appear. if it doesn't get better, you should consider seeing your doctor. there may be a prescription that would help and/or it could be something else. have you recently changed meds, eating something different, etc. you could be having a reaction of some sort. but my guess would be is that when you tried Clearasil you had a reaction to it, and that could be causing it to be worse. just clean your face as you normally do and see if it clears up on its own. as far as scars, i'm not sure what's going on there. but in the future you could see a dermatologist and they could probably laser it.
